HSBC Revolution deserves the first mention because they have a series of promotions at Golden Village cinemas. You can buy 10 weekday movie tickets for $70 (HSBC Weekdays Movie Card), or 10 any-day tickets for $95 (HSBC All Days Movie Card). The usual price of a weekday ticket is $9 (surcharge of $0.50 for new releases) and weekend ticket is $13.50, so these bundle packages are a good deal for movie lovers!

On top of that, you earn 5X rewards points per $1 on online purchases, local dining and entertainment, equivalent to 2 mpd. Other spend gets 1 rewards point for every dollar.

UOB One Card is a great card as it offers attractive flat quarterly payouts. On top of the maximum 5% rebate (based on $2,000 minimum spend), you get additional 2% for movie tickets at Cathay Cineplexes. This means you can get up to 7% SMART$ rebate on movie tickets.

SMART$ rebate can in turn be used SMART$ to offset purchases at participating outlets like Shell, Best Denki, Giant, Guardian and Metro.

Using your Citi SMRT Card to pay for movie tickets entitle you to up to 5% cashback. The good thing about Citi SMRT Card is that the cashback extends to a number of theaters: Cathay Cineplexes, Filmgarde, Golden Village, and Shaw Theaters.

To get the maximum 5%, you need to spend a minimum of $300, which isn't that high.

With this card you also get 5% rebate on participating dining and coffee merchants, 3% rebate on online transactions, and 5% rebate on groceries.
