Top 3 Reasons to Get A CIMB Credit Card

Considering a CIMB credit card? Here are 3 more reasons to sign up:

No Annual Fees

Most credit cards only offer 1 to 2 years annual fee waiver, but for CIMB credit cards, there are no annual fees for life (principal cardmember).

CIMB Sign-up Promotions

CIMB Deals & Perks

CIMB cardholders get to enjoy exclusive deals and discounts across 1,000+ dining, retail and lifestyle merchants in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.

CIMB Cashback

Both the CIMB Visa Signature and Platinum Mastercard are cashback credit cards that reward you with cash rebates. The main difference between the 2 are the spending categories for bonus 10% cash back:

You get cashback with the CIMB Visa Signature Card based on beauty & wellness, online shopping, groceries, pet shops & vet clinics, and cruises categories.

For CIMB Platinum Mastercard Card, you get cashback on dining & entertainment, transport, petrol, foreign currency, and health & medical categories.

The base 0.2% cash rebate for all spending is credited on a monthly basis, within the same statement month. The remaining 9.8% for bonus categories will be credited the following statement month after the $800 minimum spend criteria is met. Cash back is capped at total $100 per statement month; maximum $20 per spending category.
