Once your supporting documents are ready, you can file your claim at DirectAsia Insurance’s Online Claims Portal, enter your details and upload supporting documents. Alternatively, you may call 6532 1818 or +65 6991 3555 (overseas assistance). This documentation helps DirectAsia Insurance assess your claim.
After submitting your claim via DirectAsia Insurance's portal, you'll receive an acknowledgment email. Thereafter, DirectAsia Insurance will review your submission. Once your submission of claim is approved, DirectAsia Insurance will coordinate payments with the relevant airline, medical facilities, or relevant parties involved.
For single-trip travel insurance policies, you may cancel any time before the trip start date and DirectAsia will refund the amount you paid in full. As for DirectAsia’s annual travel insurance policies, a 7 days written notice to DirectAsia is required and the balance of premium for the whole policy may be payable by you if you have notified DirectAsia of a claim. Note that for both single-trip and annual policies, there is a minimum refund or collection premium of $10.
