Compare UOB One Card vs. CIMB World Mastercard vs. HSBC Visa Platinum Card

he UOB One card offers the highest cashback for and provides more versatility with its up to 10% to 15% cashback on a wider range of spending categories than CIMB World Mastercard and HSBC Visa Platinum card, but requires a minimum monthly spend. Although CIMB World Mastercard offers the lowest - 2% cashback on wine, dining, online food delivery, movies, digital entertainment, taxi, automobile, and luxury goods, it does not change any annual fees, and comes with complimentary travel insurance.

When it comes to the rewards benefits, the UOB One card is more suitable for big spenders who look forward to using reward points earned to offset bills and purchases, while the HSBC Visa Platinum card provides the flexibility of earning both cashback and air miles (through accumulation of 1 x HSBC Reward point for every dollar spent), which is ideal for cardholders who like to travel often and use air miles.

In a nutshell, the UOB One card may be suitable for you and your family if the minimum spend of $500 every month is manageable for you, and if you spend a substantial amount on fuel, online shopping, groceries and travel every month.
