OCBC 365 Credit Card Interest Rates & Fees

Unlike some banks that do not charge any processing fees or initial annual fee, the OCBC 365 Credit Card charges an annual fee, and other fees such as cash advance transaction fee, minimum monthly payment, late payment fee, foreign currency transaction fee, and overlimit fee.

Considering that the OCBC 365 Credit Card charges a reasonable annual fee and offers annual fee waiver for the first two years, this card will only be worth getting if you spend enough to offset the cost of annual fee in the third and subsequent years, and to maximise the key benefits of 5% cashback on everyday dining, 6% cashback on fuel spend, and 3% cashback on groceries and other eligible categories.

Compare OCBC 365 Credit Card vs. Citi Cash Back+ Card vs. SCB Smart Credit Card

At the moment, the OCBC 365 Credit Card offers the lowest interest rate as compared to the Citi Cash Back + Card and SCB Smart Credit Card, unless you qualify for the lowest available interest rate of 23.90% offered by Standard Chartered Smart Credit Card.

In terms of annual fee, you’ll definitely save more with the Standard Chartered Smart Credit Card as compared to the OCBC 365 Credit Card and Citi Cash Back + Card, as you wouldn’t have to pay any annual fees for it.

When it comes to cash back benefits, the OCBC 365 Credit Card takes the cake with the most attractive perks as compared to the Standard Chartered Smart Credit Card and Citi Cash Back + Card, offering the highest cash back returns in terms of 5% cashback on everyday dining (including local, overseas and online food delivery) and 6% cashback on fuel spend at all petrol service stations locally and overseas.

However, the OCBC 365 Credit Card requires a minimum spend of $800 per month, with cashback capped at S$80 per month or a minimum spend of $1600 per month to qualify for $160 cashback per month, unlike the Standard Chartered Smart Credit Card and Citi Cash Back + Card which do not have minimum spend requirements.
