AIA HealthShield Gold Max (For Foreigners)
AIA offers both the AIA HealthShield Gold Max plan A and the accompanying AIA Max VitalHealth A rider for dependants and non-dependants of Singaporeans and Permanent Residents (PRs) such as their spouses, parents, grandparents, or children with valid residential and work passes in Singapore – payable by either MediSave or cash.
Insurance Details
- If you are a Permanent Resident (PR) of Singapore and are considering the AIA HealthShield Gold Max Integrated Shield Plan (IP), you are eligible for the locals’ version of the plan and not this version which is meant for non-Singaporeans and non-PRs
- Eligible Foreigners: Includes dependants and non-dependants of Singaporeans and PRs with a Valid Pass to reside in Singapore, such as spouses, parents, grandparents, and children
- Pre-Hospitalisation treatments covered “As Charged” if you sought treatment at AIA panel clinics, doctors, and hospitals within 100 to 180 days prior to your hospitalisation stay
- Hospitalisation stay’s daily room, board, ICU, including community hospital charges covered “As Charged”
- Post-Hospitalisation treatments sought up to 13 months after hospitalisation at AIA panel hospitals, clinics, and doctors will be covered “As Charged”
- Post-hospitalisation coverage of 30 critical illnesses within 100 days from your date of discharge “As Charged”
- Covers all MediSave-listed surgical procedures including organ, stem cell transplants, and surgical implants “As Charged”
- Covers 26 pregnancy complications, including ectopic pregnancy, eclampsia, miscarriage, haemorrhage, still birth, gestational diabetes, and more “As Charged”
- Covers S$5,000 per child for any newborn congenital abnormalities. Has to be a female insured’s biological child
- Offers S$60,000 coverage per organ transplant in the event you are the donor or recipient
- Offers S$1,000 to S$5,000 coverage for in- and post-hospital psychiatric treatments per policy year
- Includes additional coverage for COVID-19 for free
