    Step 1

    Prepare your supporting documents

    When claiming with Income Insurance, scan or photograph original documents for online submission and keep the originals for six months, as they may be needed for review.

    Wait for Approval of claim and settlement

    After submitting your claim via Income's portal, you'll receive an acknowledgment email.     Income Travel Insurance Refunds & Cancellations

    As long as you’ve bought a single trip, multi-trip or family travel insurance policy from Income Travel Insurance, you may be able to claim for overseas transport and accommodation expenses if your trip has been cancelled or shortened. However, the event has to take place after you have bought your policy and the event has to occur within 30 days before you depart Singapore. Another thing to consider is that the policy must be bought three days (or earlier) from the day of leaving Singapore unless the event is only accidental in nature.

    If your claim is eligible for payment, it may take about 15 working days to process your claims after all required documents are received. Note that the processing time and disbursements during travel peak periods may take longer.

    Does Income travel insurance cover my trip cancellation/postponement expenses if I am diagnosed with COVID-19 prior to my trip?

    Yes, if you have purchased your policy three days (or earlier) from the day you leave Singapore, we will respond to claim arising from COVID-19 for benefits stated in your Income Travel Insurance plans policy for cancelling your trip (Section 1) or postponing your trip (Section 2), with submission of valid supporting documents.
