- Yes, all Travel Guard® Direct plans provide coverage for loss of personal baggage as well as the items in your personal baggage including laptop computer, jewellery, and other valuables. Baggage delay coverage is only valid for the Standard, Enhanced, Supreme plans.
- No. Travel Guard® Direct plans do not cover any travel in, to, or through five countries namely, Cuba, Iran, Syria, Crimea Region and North Korea.
- Yes, you can. Prior to the expiry date of your original policy, you can apply for an extension of your original policy via AIG’s online form and complete the payment of the additional premium. You will be required to confirm your travel arrangements when you extend the policy, and approval for your application for extended cover is subject to AIG’s review.
