The HSBC Revolution Card has been around for close to a decade and is one of HSBC’s most well-known rewards points credit cards, designed for those who enjoy dining, shopping, and entertainment. Let’s find out in this review if this card is suitable for you.

The HSBC Revolution Card is a no-frills credit card that lets you earn HSBC rewards points for online and contactless transactions.

HSBC Revolution Card Interest Rates & Fees

One of the best things about the HSBC Revolution Card is the no annual fee charge, although it still charges other fees such as cash advance transaction fee, minimum monthly payment, late payment fee, foreign currency transaction fee, and overlimit fee, just like all the other credit cards.

Compare HSBC Revolution Card vs. Citi Rewards Card vs. SCB Rewards+ Credit Card

Currently, the HSBC Revolution Card offers the lowest interest rate as compared to the Citi Rewards Card and Standard Chartered Rewards+ Credit Card and in terms of annual fee, you wouldn’t have to worry about paying the annual fees or remembering to waive the annual fees every year with the HSBC Revolution Card.

Moreover, it has one of the more attractive “10X rewards points (equivalent to 4 air miles or 2.5% Cashback) for every S$1 spent” rewards mechanics as it is applicable to all online or via contactless payments, unlike Citi Rewards Card’s “10X rewards points for every S$1 spent” mechanics which excludes expenditure that are travel-related or via mobile wallets, and SCB Rewards+ Card which limits its “10X rewards points for every S$1 spent” to only foreign currency transactions.

If you’re a car owner who drives often, you’ll also benefit from generous discounts which are up to 21.15% fuel savings at Caltex and Shell. Considering all these factors, the HSBC Revolution Card seems to be the best option for everyday spending (especially for online shopping), and those who own cars.
