Compare DBS Vantage Card vs. SCB Smart Credit Card vs. HSBC Visa Infinite Credit Card

The DBS Vantage Card is just one of the many cards out there that are good for miles and cash back perks. There are also others like the SCB Smart Credit Card and HSBC Visa Infinite Credit Card which are among the many cash back credit card options you would have come across on MoneySmart’s online credit card comparison wizard. We’ll be comparing these 3 credit cards to find out more about their different requirements and benefits.

The DBS Vantage Card is more reserved in its cashback benefits. Although the Standard Chartered Smart credit card gives you the most amount of cash back on your spending, it is lacking in the air miles benefits aspect as compared to the DBS Vantage Card and HSBC Visa Infinite Credit Card.

In terms of interest rates, the DBS Vantage Card offers a pretty reasonable rate of 27.80% which is slightly lower than the SCB Smart Credit Card’s maximum rate, but higher than Standard Chartered Smart Credit Card’s lowest option of 23.90% (subject to the bank’s assessment of your credit profile).

In a nutshell, the DBS Vantage Card is suitable for you if you can maximise the benefits for this card including the ability to earn up to 2.2% cashback or 2.2 miles per $1 spent (overseas), be rewarded with up to 85,000 miles, priority pass at airport lounges, complimentary stay at your preferred Accor hotel brands like Fairmont, Sofitel, and more.
