Citibank Buffet Promotions FAQ

Can I get Citi Miles or cashback at buffets?

Yes! On top of whatever discount you get at the above hotel buffets, you will also get the usual credit card benefits when you foot the bill. For example, if you use the Citi PremierMiles Card to pay, you will get the usual miles for local spending.

Which Citibank credit card is the best?

For hotel dining, we recommend using the Citi PremierMiles Card as you can earn 1.2 miles per S$1 spent, with no cap. Alternatively, you can use the new Citi Cash Back+ Card for a straight 1.6% cash rebate, again with no cap. This is especially useful if you’re signing for a big group, where the buffet bill can be well in the hundreds.

What about the Citi Cash Back Card?

The Citi Cash Back Card is a great credit card for dining at regular restaurants as it gives you an extra 5.75% cashback up to a total of 6%. However, hotel restaurants may not be recorded as dining transactions (since the hotel’s main business is accommodation). We would recommend using a credit card that does not reward specific categories for hotel dining.
